UNSETTLING SERIES

In 2015, I started materializing my poems by depicting them in soft pastels. In 2016, I started to render the concept behind my paintings in clay sculptures, Unsettling; I explored emotions in war zones. I spent three months in the Summer of 2016 through self-taught experience to bring them to existence. While I did not have any model, I used my imagination to depict different visual traits. I also researched human facial anatomy. In 2017 I used these creations in my action performances.

For Unsettling, I was awarded a Solo Show in the Spring of 2017 at Exposure Art Gallery in Sioux Falls.
