I'm Leila Ghasempor — a Kurdish-Iranian Social-Poet Visionary and Creative Director devoted to celebrating love, diversity, community, and sustainability in everyday life, while advocating for artists and underrepresented voices.
I hold an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a BFA in Sculpture with a Minor in Art History from the University of South Dakota, a degree in Art & Design from Parkland College, and a certificate in Early Childhood Education and Management.
Currently, I serve as Creative Director and Social Poet Artist. I collaborate with fellow artists and lead workshops in diverse settings, working with families, children, adults with disabilities, and seniors—always with a focus on building bridges through art and human connection. I also serve as Workshop Director at FabMo, where my passion for sustainability, creativity, and community comes to life through collaborative, hands-on programming.
